Chevron Cetus PAO ISO VG 32 Synthetic Compressor Oil

Chevrons Cetus PAO 32 is a synthetic air compressor oil formulated with high quality polyalphaolefin (PAO) base fluids and high performance additives and meet the requirements of DIN 51506 VDL standard.

This compressor oil is formulated to provide excellent lubrication for many air compressors, particularly portable and stationary rotary sand screw compressors, as well as single-stage, two-stage, and multistage reciprocating compressors. While specific manufacture recommendations vary, ISO 32 is most commonly used for rotary air compressors. Chevron’s Cetus lubricants are formulated specifically to meet the crankcase and cylinder lubricant requirements of reciprocating compressors.

Features

Cetus PAO oils have a high viscosity index (134), high flash point (482°F, 250°C), low pour point (-49°F, -45°C), exceptional hydrolytic stability, and are designed to meet requirements of modern higher output, more efficient air compressors.

The thermal and oxidation stability and low-carbon forming tendencies of these compressor lubricants help prevent excessive deposit formation on valves and air separators caused by high operating temperatures.

Compared to mineral oil-based compressor lubricants, Chevron’s synthetic compressor oils keep valves clean and can help minimize recompression, maximize compressor efficiencies, and minimize maintenance costs. These oils are also compatible with most elastomeric seal materials that are used with such mineral oil-based lubricants.
