Sunoco Ultra Synthetic dexos1 is a full synthetic motor oils that is tested and approved for use in General Motors gasoline fueled engines. Dot only does it meets GM's stringent dexos1 performance standards, it meet the most recent API SP and ILSAC GF-6A standards. These engine oils are formulated by blending 100% synthetic base oils with high performance additives for an engine oil that provides superior performance benefits in gasoline fueled, flex-fueled, and GDI turbo-boosted engines. Sunoco Ultra Full Synthetic Motor Oils help extend engine life and provide greater fuel savings than conventional based engine oils. This motor oil fully backwards compatible with previous API SN+ and ILSAC GF-5 standards.

Application

Recommended for General Motors engines requiring a licensed dexos1 engine oil. Additionally it is for most all modern passenger cars and light duty trucks and are backwards compatible with most engines manufactured in the last 100 years up to today’s modern engines utilizing GDI (gas direct injected) fuel systems and turbo chargers. This Engine oil also protects against LSPI (low-speed pre-ignition) occurrences that can cause premature engine wear or catastrophic failure.
