As a synthetic, extreme-pressure gear oil, Chevron Meropa Synthetic EP, 5 Gallon pail, is a premium gear lubricant designed to exceed the performance requirements of many types of industrial gearboxes. Meropa Synthetic EP is lab-engineered for use in gearboxes operating at temperatures as high as 107°C and as low as -46°C.

Meropa Synthetic EP is one of the finest lubricants on the market, satisfying several requirements including: AGMA 9005, DIN 51517-3 (CLP), Joy TO-SMEP, US Steel 224, and MAG Cincinnati, Cincinnati Machine P-74. Used almost exclusively in gearboxes due to its extreme-pressure performance capabilities, this product may also be used for bearings operating under similar conditions (heavy loaded, low speed).

Designed to outlast and outperform mineral-based gear lubricants, Meropa Synthetic EP 220 is formulated to withstand conditions wherein a petroleum lubricant would deteriorate rapidly.
