Meropa Synthetic EP 320, 5 Gallon pail, is a fully synthetic, extreme-pressure gear lubricant formulated to outperform comparable mineral-based oils in many types of industrial gearboxes.

Considering the outstanding performance characteristics of Meropa Synthetic EP 320, this product may be used almost exclusively in the lubrication of industrial gear boxes but may be also used in heavily-loaded, low-speed bearings operating in industrial plants. Most gearboxes that operate within the temperature range of -46°C to 107°C, will find increased efficiency, improved film strength, and extended equipment life when using this product.

Meropa Synthetic EP 320 satisfies the following performance requirements: AGMA 9005, DIN 51517-3 (CLP), Joy TO-SHEP, US Steel 224, and MAG Cincinnati, Cincinnati Machine P-59. Built to withstand even the most intense pressures and temperatures, this EP lubricant will greatly outperform mineral-based products intended for use in similar applications.

Performance Characteristics

  • High oxidation stability
  • High Viscosity Index Lubricant
  • Extended drain intervals
  • Widespread Compatibility
  • High Shear Stability
  • Low Pour Point

Chevron’s Synthetic EP 320 is lab-engineered to exceed the performance characteristics of mineral-based gear lubricants and most other synthetic gear lubricants. The unique formulation allows for extended lubricant life as well as machine life. Boasting low-temperature fluidity and exceptional viscosity-index performance, this product will often lead to lesser oil changes, reduced maintenance costs, and less disposed oil.
