117 Octane Fuels

117 Octane Race Fuels indicate high performance fuels with a Ron/Mon of 117.

This highly ignition stable fuel is leaded and contains no ethanol. It used in high compression engines with power add-on such as superchargers, turbochargers and nitrous oxide systems. It is a popular choice for Drag Racers and Truck Pullers.

This fuel is designed with low boiling point components to provide quick throttle response and a better linear evaporation profile. This also means your engine will not have to be as hot in order to get a complete fuel/air mixture.

You will find this fuel to have very little variation in density and the dielectric will remain constant. This is a benefit when being handled by Technical Inspectors.
