ACEA C6 Engine Oils

Engine oils that meet ACEA C6 are superior extended drain interval engine oils that provide improved fuel economy. They have a mid-SAPS additive level that makes them suitable for exhaust after treatment devices. They are made for use in vehicles fitted with three way catalyst (TWC) & Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF). ACEA C6 engine oils are put through additional testing when compared to C5 oils. These tests ensure that the oil will provide protection from low speed pre-ignition (LSPI), wear protection for turbocharged gasoline direct injection engines, and turbocharger compressor deposit (TCCD) protection for modern DI diesel engines. They have a high temperature / high shear (HT/HS) range of 2.6cP - 2.9cP.
