Fifth Wheel Greases

Greases for Fifth Wheel Lubrication of Trailer connections are very important and sometimes overlooked. While any grease is better than none, keeping this pivotal connection lubricated is very difficult. Not only is there a lot of weighted pressure on the 5^th. Wheel and Top Plate, there is the constant sliding and ration action that forces the grease out from the mating surfaces. On top of that, the outdoor elements such as rain, heat and road salt can considerably shorten the life of the grease. At PSC we carry a multitude of greases, but when it comes to Fifth Wheels, we recommend a tacky grease fortified with “Dry Lubricants” such as Moly and Graphite that add an extra layer of long lasting protection.
