Berkebile 2+2 Rubberized Undercoating is sold in a case of 12/16 ounce aerosol cans

Berkebile 2+2 Rubberized Undercoat is specially formulated to protect automotive underbodies from corrosion. This rubberized product dries to a firm yet flexible. It cures to a tack-free film that is paintable and has good abrasion resistance and effective sound-deadening properties. It can be applied to create a thick coating can stretch without cracking.

Directions for Use

For proper spraying, can should be at room temperature (about 720 F. / 220 C.). For best adhesion, clean area to be undercoated, which should be clean, dry, and free of dirt, oil, grease, wax, etc. Shake can until mixing balls rattle freely inside, then continue shaking about 5 seconds longer. Remove protective cap. Hold can upright with spray button about 12” to 14” (1/3m) from surface. Press firmly on spray button and move spray can around continually. Use a side-to-side, up-and-down, or circular motion to apply a thin, even coating over the surface. To reduce running and sagging, apply several thin coats, allowing 15 minutes drying time between coats. To prevent clogging of spray button, turn can upside down after use and spray until only vapor comes out.
