Blower oils are intended to lubricate the internal components of all positive displacement blowers, including Roots, Gardner-Denver, Sutorbilt and Duroflow.
Positive displacement blowers require high-quality lubricants with an ideal thickness and film strength that will create sufficient separation between metal components and exhaust heat adequately. Contrarily, if the thickness of the oil is more than the bearings can handle without dragging, temperatures will increase and may potentially cause system failure. These lubricants most often contain unique additive packages to maintain their anti-rust, anti-corrosive properties as well as boost their ability to thoroughly lubricate and protect.
The period between oil changes is greatly extended with PSC's synthetic-base Blower Lubricants and running surfaces suffer minimal abrasion throughout the lubricant's service life.
