AGMA 7, ISO VG 460 | Gear Lube | Food Grade

Food Grade (H-1) Gear Lubricants are developed for use in gear drives operating in food processing and beverage plants where incidental food contact may occur and meet the current requirements of USDA guidelines.
PSC only offers Food Grade (H-1) Gear Lubricants that are Kosher, Halal, and CFIA certified.
Petroleum Service Company's Food Grade (H-1) Gear Lubricants are fortified only with the necessary additives to keep gearboxes running smoothly for long durations while guaranteeing the safety of our oils should they come into contact with food products.
ISO VG 460 oil has a midpoint kinematic viscosity of 460 cSt (centistokes). The midpoint is derived by taking the average of both the minimum and maximum kinematic viscosities which is accounted for by the AGMA designation. The maximum and minimum kinematic viscosity of an AGMA 7 oil is 506 mPa.s and 414 mPa.S, respectively. Averaging these two quantities together, the result is equivalent to the midpoint kinematic viscosity measured in the ISO VG testing mechanism.
