I won’t review the product because it is well documented as a premiere aviation oil. I used to run Phillips a long time ago, but had switched to Exxon Elite for better than 10 years. Now that EE is no longer available, I'm back to Phillips X/C with Camguard. Will have to see how my Lycoming likes it. PSC has the best price and shipping was prompt.

I'm no expert at engine oils. The flying magazines and pilot association rags say the Phillips 66 is best, so that's what I've used for the last 15 years. Seems to be doing well. The other thing I use is Camguard Oil Additive, to enhance oil performance and resist corrosion during periods when I can't fly. I WISH PETROLEUM SERVICE WOULD STOCK THAT AS WELL, SO I CAN ORDER ALL OIL CHANGE SUPPLIES FROM A SINGLE PLACE!

My engine seems to run the best on this oil, and I use it year round in Minnesota.

I've used Exxon Elite in my Tiger since 2012 when I purchased it. Based on the Aviation Consumer comparison of airplane engine oils and additives, Exxon Elite's anti-corrosion performance is similar to Phillips XC 20w-50 plus Camguard additve, and the price was lower because of high shipping charges for the Phillips oil. With Petroleum Service Company's new, more competitive shipping charges the economics have changed in favor of the Phillips oil, so I made the change. Expecting continued good service from my new oil.

PSC is awesome! Cheaper and quicker than everyone else for oil. I live in the NE so this is a satisfactory hybrid that I use all year (with pre-heat in the winter). Have been using it with great success on both airplanes I currently own (PA28 and PA34)
