Sunoco Optima 95 Octane, Unleaded Racing Fuel is the optimum ethanol free fuel for limited use engines of all sizes. It is stabilized for year round use as well as long term storage.

Sunoco Optima is an unleaded fuel blended from highly-refined hydrocarbon blend-stocks. Optima does not contain ethanol or MTBE and is oxygenate-free. Optima has excellent storage characteristics, making it ideal for storing vehicles and gasoline-powered equipment, especially those requiring an exceptionally stable unleaded fuel. It is the perfect choice for yard equipment such as leaf blowers, weed whackers, chainsaws and other yard equipment that doesn't get used regularly.

Optima is specially formulated to be easy on gaskets, O-rings, and other fuel system components. It also promotes quick mixing with 2-stroke oils in both air-cooled and water-cooled applications. Sunoco Optima is an excellent choice for gasoline-powered yard, farm, and industrial equipment and other small engine applications that may not be used on a regular basis. Gasoline stabilizers are not needed when using Sunoco Optima.

Sunoco Optima contains detergent additives for engine cleanliness as well as anti-oxidants and corrosion inhibitors to enhance storage life. Optima is not a street-legal fuel and is for off-road and racing use only. However, it will not harm oxygen sensors or catalytic converters. When stored in air-tight, opaque fuel containers, the shelf life of Sunoco Optima is in excess of three years.

Great all around fuel

This fuel is great for everything from your old muscle car and speed boat to your lawnmower and hedge trimmer. It has no ethanol to clog up the carb and stays fresh for a long time which is great for people who dont drive their car too often. It will even allow you to pick up around 5hp or so compared to pump gas because of the high level or refinement, fast burn rate and high octane.

I’m sure how you review fuel - the shipping was faster then expected - it would be nice if there were a west coast distributor as shipping drives up the cost

Good experience. Fast shipping. I bought a pallet full. Well packaged. And the cans it comes in are quality. I want to point out this gas is higher octane than what you can get at the pump, no ethanol, and packaged to last. Great for SHTF situations as well as for your gas equipment. Currently 5 gallons of gas is $5 per gallon, add a $1 for higher octane, and another for gas stabilizers. Add $50 for good long term storage can. And you are up to $85 for 5 gallons packaged. Add $10 for profit for Sunoco and this is a reasonably priced product. Two thumbs up.

I ride a motorcycle with a high compression big bore motor and it requires a little more octane than can be purchased at the pump. I’ve used this fuel since the engine was fresh and it runs (and smells) great. I couldn’t be happier with the fuel or the service from PSC…
