TOTAL Hydransafe HFDU ISO VG 68 High Performance, Fire-Resistant & Biodegradable Ester-Based Hydraulic Fluid Approved for FM Standard 6930

TOTAL Hydransafe HFDU 68 is an high performing ester-based biodegradable hydraulic fluid with considerable fire resistance properties based on synthetic anhydrous liquids, with selected organic base oils containing the highest purity and displaying high oxidation and thermal stability.

TOTAL Hydransafe HFDU 68 is a FM Approvals (Factory Mutual) Approved Industrial Fluid in accordance with FM Approval Standard 6930 "Flammability classification of Industrial Fluids" with benefits such as:

• Excellent Fire Resistance Properties with a maximum operating temperature of 120°C.
• High Flash Point & High Spontaneous Ignition Temperature
• Exceptional lubrication properties for substantial wear protection and a longer service life for hydraulic components.
• Incredible anticorrosion properties and resistance to aging and stabalized oxidation for ferrous/non-ferrous (iron-containing/no iron) metals making up a circuit. 
• Low pour point for increased performance in lower temperatures.
• Very high natural viscosity index where viscosity constantly adapts to the temperature range of the current application. 
• Is Biodegradable, meaning it can be broken down by microorganisms like bacteria, fungi, and other biological agents over time into natural components. Ideal for minimal effect on the environment.

TOTAL Hydransafe HFDU 68 is highly recommended in hydraulic applications within locations comprising a fire risk such as iron and steel works (coking plants, blast furnaces, continuouscasting), mines, etc… Also has 'biodegradability' and is especially recommended when there is a possibility of water contamination during use.

• Hydraulic Circuits 
• Decrease risk of oil mist brought from Hose Ruptures or leaks near an open flame(s).
• Lessens risk in the process of melting or a switch cupboard.
• Ideal for operations in settings where the risk of fire and ignition common such as iron and steel works (cooking plants, blast furnaces, continuous.
