Morse Below-Hook Drum Lifter is a versatile drum lifter constructed for efficient and stable lifting and transporting of 30 to 85 gallon (114 to 322 liter) rimmed plastic, steel, or lever-lock fiber drums with 18” to 26” diameter top rim.

This specially designed carbon steel drum lifter allows for secure and effortless lifting of closed and upright rimmed 30-85 gallon drums weighing up to 1000 lbs. with a hoist system or similar lifting devices.
Fitted with an automatic, tong-like gripping feature with intentionally designed slim hooks that make lifting and lowering a 55 gallon drum into an overpack/salvage drums or maneuvering within confined spaces much more efficient.

Features an Automatic, Self-Adjusting Tong-like Action

• Automatically grips underneath the rim of various compatible closed drums.
• Ensures a secure grip through an automatic, self-adjusting, tong-like action on the drum as it is raised with a hook. 
• The drum lid MUST be on, secure, and within 1” inch of the top of the drum to be lifted safely and effectively.

Narrow Profile for Drum Placement into Overpack/Salvage Drums

• Slim-profile grippers provide a narrow profile allowing for smooth lowering of 30-gallon (114 liters) or 55-gallon (210 liters) drums into overpack or salvage drums, streamlining the containment process.
• Narrow grip profile can be utilized for accessing and lifting drums from rows of tightly packed drums or other confined spaces with ease.

Versatile Lifting Capabilities 

• Easy integration with existing lifting equipment for various lifting applications.
• Drum lifting capacity ranges from 15" to 23" (38.1 cm to 58.4 cm) diameters under the top rim, accommodating a wide range of drum sizes. 
• Can handle lifting of drums of up to 1000lbs.
