NOX-RUST X-241M is a solvent free oil designed for acid fume inhibition and long-term humidity protection. This product is intended to be applied to coiled or stacked steel during storage. These inhibitor oils are generally applied to the mill prior to coiling or stacking.

NOX-RUST X-241M is the essential mill oil for preserving steel coils without sacrificing the cleanability required by automotive customers.

Product Uses:

• Light Amber to clear when dry, oily, rust preventative coating.
• Can be sprayed, dipped, brushed, or roller coated
• X-241-M is a petroleum based sheet metal processing lubricant and preservative for use on coiled stock as a combination rust preventive and pre-lube.
• It can be used in blankers (auto-shear) as a wash which leaves behind a lubricant and rust preventive film.
• Can be used as a rust preventative spray on steel and steel parts.
• Approved as a preventative and lubricant on sheet and coiled steel, non-interfering with auto body and assembly sealers, adhesives, and cleaning systems. 

Product Performance:

• Flash point of 250°F minimum supports safer handling in industrial environments.
• Offers approximately 3,200 sq. ft. of coverage per gallon for efficient material usage.
• Demonstrated 9 months of atmospheric corrosion protection in industrial warehouse exposure testing.
• Provides 500-hour stack test protection on cold rolled and galvanized steels with no corrosion or coating deterioration
• Residual film protection has shown more than 3 months of rust prevention in high-humidity stamping plant storage conditions.
