Mobil DTE Ultra Series Pails and Drums

You may have noticed that Mobil has recently updated and replaced the DTE 20 Series with the DTE 20 Ultra Series. So, what is the difference?

Description

The DTE 20 ULTRA series oils remain high-performance anti-wear hydraulic oils that meet the requirements of a wide range of hydraulic systems using high-pressure, high-output pumps as well as close clearance servo-valves and numerically controlled (NC) machine tools. In short, Mobil has just improved on the already exceptional performance of the DTE 20 Series with the DTE 20 ULTRA series.

Their extended life capabilities have demonstrated up to 2 times longer oil drain intervals versus equivalent oils with a viscosity index around 100 and a zinc-based anti-wear system - meeting at least ISO 11158 (L-HM) and/or DIN 51524-2 (HLP) Requirements.

Meeting a wide range of the most rigorous performance requirements for hydraulic systems and component manufacturer allows for using a single product with excellent characteristics.

Features

  • The advanced technology formulation has been shown to reduce hydraulic oil consumption significantly
    • 72% better wear protection for extending component life
    • 89% better deposit control for maintaining precision operations
    • 2x extended oil life - support environmental care by reduction in overall consumption
  • Lower maintenance frequency, minimizing worker-machine interactions, making the site safer
  • Improved water handling and filter rating
  • Outstanding keep clean performance to protect equipment
  • Enhanced anti-wear performance
  • Thermal and oxidation stability improvements to reduce downtime and reduce deposits in the harshest of conditions
  • Enhanced corrosion protection
  • Controlled demulsibility to protect from quantities of water

Applications

  • Hydraulic systems sensitive to deposit build-up or sludge
  • Systems requiring a high load-carrying capability and anti-wear protection
  • Systems when thin-oil corrosion protection is needed
  • Where small amounts of water are unpreventable
  • Gear and bearing systems
