Chevron Cetus HiPerSYN oil 220 is a synthetic rust and oxidation oil designed for general use in industrial equipment operating under severe-service conditions but may also be used with great success in stationary and portable rotary, vane, and screw compressors and lightly-loaded enclosed gearboxes (that do not require an extreme-pressure gear lube or compounded gear lube).

Chevron HiPerSYN Oils are a synthetic rust and oxidation oil that has excellent thermal and oxidation stability and low carbon-forming tendencies – this leads to a much cleaner machine with minimal sludge and deposit formation. This H2 lubricant passes the acute aquatic toxicity criteria adopted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Chevron HiPerSYN Oils may be used successfully in Sullair compressors, Quincy compressors, and Diamond Power soot blowers. Other applications include industrial bearings requiring a synthetic R&O oil or industrial gear box applications requiring a synthetic oil with an outstanding thermal and oxidative stability with out EP Additives.

This product is designed to have excellent foam resistance, low-temperature fluidity, and outstanding anti-wear performance. Formulated to maintain its viscosity over a wide temperature range, this synthetic circulating oil is an outstanding choice for applications subject to temperature changes. This product has a viscosity index of 130, a flash point of 230°C, and a pour point of -40°C.
