Chevron Capella WF Refrigerant Compressor Oil ISO VG 68

Chevron Capella WF 68 oil is designed specifically for to be used for lubricating refrigeration system compressors. This wax-free lubricant is particularly suited for modern, compact, high pressure refrigeration systems using Freon, and can be used in very cold ambient temperatures as a bearing lubricant or for hand oiling; however, they are unsuitable for refrigerant systems using HFC refrigerants, such as R-134a.

Registered by NSF, this product is certified for use as a lubricant where there is no possibility of food contact (H2) in and around food processing areas. It also satisfies the requirements of hermetically sealed air conditioning compressors or smaller units.

Chevron’s Capella WF 32 lubricant is manufactured using high quality materials, such as specially refined naphthenic minerals and carefully selected base stocks, which provide the necessary low pour points for refrigeration compressor lubricants (-40°F, -40°C).

These refrigerant compressor oils are also highly refined and specially treated to help resist the sludging action of refrigerants in the presence of high temperature and metal catalysts.
