Phillips 66 Refrigerant Compressor Oil 68 oil is designed for use as a refrigeration compressor oil. Refrigerant Compressor Oil series is a line of Phillips 66 lubricants that are designed for use in modern reciprocating and rotary screw compressors in refrigeration systems using ammonia, carbon dioxide, or non-HFC refrigerants. These are "Wax Free" oils from specially refined naphthenic mineral oils that contain no wax content which allows them to flow at very low temperatures. 68 represents the thickness of the oil which is an International Standards Organization Viscosity Grade (ISO VG) 68.
