Chevron Rando HDZ ISO 68 | 55 Gallon Drum

Chevron Rando HDZ ISO 68 | 55 Gallon Drum
460.00 LBS

Chevron’s Rando HDZ cold weather hydraulic oil, 55 gallon drum, is specially formulated with premium base oil technology to provide superior protection to hydraulic pumps. Its unique formulation also includes antiwear additives, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, and a sheer stable viscosity index improver to ensure optimal protection and pump efficiency.

This HVI fluid is recommended for use in hydraulic or circulating oil systems, including marine on-deck machinery, hydraulic actuated loading bins, and equipment that requires a wider range of operating temperatures.

This ISO 68 oil meets the following requirements:

  • Eaton-Vickers I-286-S
  • Parker Hannifin (Denison) HF0 (using T6H20C pump)
  • ASTM D6158, HV
  • Bosch Rexroth former specification RE 90220-01
  • DIN 51524-3
  • ISO 11158 L-HV

When used in a clean, dry environment, this product typically meets a dielectric strength of 35 kV? (ASTM D877?).

Performance characteristics

  • Oxidation stabilizing
  • Outstanding rust and corrosion protection
  • High viscosity index (140)
  • Foam suppressing
  • Exceptional anti-wear properties
  • Excellent filterability

This premium hydraulic oil has been specially formulated with the inclusion of antiwear additives to minimize metal-to-metal contact and premature pump wear. Limiting metal-to-metal contact is especially important in vane-, piston-, and gear-type pumps.

Chevron’s HVI hydraulic lubricant provides the needed antiwear protection for pumps that increase pressure over 1000psi.  Rando HDZ oils provide up to 5% improvement in overall pump efficiency when compared to typical monograde hydraulic fluids.
