BlueSky Cirrus Syn EP 100

BlueSky Cirrus Syn EP 100 is a synthetic lubricant providing exceptional performance in industrial gear box applications. Cirrus Syn refers to a series of BlueSky Lubricants that are made of synthetic PAO (polyalphaolefin) base fluid that provides significantly better thermal and oxidation stability, as well as increased protection against the loss of viscosity than do conventional good quality mineral oils. The low coefficient of friction of synthetic lubricants substantially reduces power consumption and operating temperature. EP refers to the addition of Extreme Pressure (EP) additives which provide the ultimate protection for gear boxes that see extreme pressure and thrust load conditions. 100 represents the thickness of the oil which is an International Standards Organization Viscosity Grade (ISO VG) 100.
